Privacy policy

The short version: everything Time Blocker tracks lives in your browser's local storage. We don't collect, transmit, or sell your browsing data. The only data we ever receive is feedback you explicitly choose to send us.

Data storage

All your data is stored locally on your device. We do not collect, store, or transmit any of your browsing data to our servers or any third parties.

  • Your browsing history stays on your device
  • Your time tracking data is stored locally
  • Your site blocking preferences remain private
  • No data is uploaded to external servers

No data collection

We believe your browsing data is personal and should stay that way. We do not:

  • Collect your browsing history
  • Track your online behavior
  • Share or sell any data to third parties
  • Use your data for advertising purposes

Your control

You have complete control over your data. Since everything is stored locally on your device, you can delete it at any time by clearing your browser data or uninstalling the extension.

Feedback you send us

If you choose to send feedback (from the extension, or after uninstalling), we receive only what you submit — so we can fix bugs and improve performance:

  • Your star rating and the message you write
  • Basic device info: browser name and version, operating system, screen and window size, and language
  • The extension version

Feedback is optional and never includes your browsing history or the sites you visit. It is stored with Google Firebase.
